Voices of Tobi Island
Meet the people whose voices you hear!
And contributors to the project.

Tobian, a Malayo-Polynesian language, is spoken by approximately 150 people these days. Tobian and the dialects of Sonsorol, Merir, and Pulo Ana, the other three southwest islands of Palau, are closely related to the languages spoken in the outer islands of Yap and Chuuk.
